IT SPECIALIST – HELP DESK

ADM Media brand solutions is looking for a talented IT Specialist – Help Desk to join the team for its Balerna HQ (Switzerland).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

ADM’s IT team plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of business technology. We are looking for an IT Specialist to join our team and provide first level support for hardware, software and IT issues. More specifically, the preferred candidate will be called upon to:

  • Perform routine maintenance on the IT infrastructure, including servers and network devices.
  • Provide first-level technical support to internal users, promptly resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Manage and maintain IT assets, such as laptops, printers, servers, and accessories.
  • Carry out routine server maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Manage the cloud-based PBX system (3CX).
  • Administer and troubleshoot corporate network issues.
  • Manage Active Directory, administering accounts, permissions, group policy, and VPN.
  • Administer O365, handling licenses, email configurations, and user permissions.
  • Assist new employees in configuring hardware and software to ensure an effective onboarding process.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of the office IT infrastructure, including networks, printers, and shared resources.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for the procurement, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 2 years of experience in the IT sector.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude, with a user-centric approach.
  • In-depth knowledge of operating systems: Linux, macOS/iOS, and Windows Server.
  • Experience with macOS environments (90% of our infrastructure runs on macOS).
  • Experience in managing Active Directory, O365 administration, and network configurations (VLAN, DHCP, VPN).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
